Magical Services

Mr. "O", magician, grew up in Pearl City, Hawaii. He has been a teacher, counselor, administrator and educational specialist for the Hawaii Department of Education. He uses his 30+ years of experience as an educator to enhance his performances with children and adults. He began in magic while a vice-principal at Leihoku Elementary School in Waianae.

All three magicians, Mr. "O" along with Yona Chock and Monty, founder of Monty's Magic Theater, performed on opening night of the theater in October 2001. He also can be seen occasionally performing tableside magic at Tony Roma's Pearl City and Farrell's Restaurant in Pearlridge Shopping Center and previously at Sam Choy's Nimitz.

His memorable magic experiences include taking magic lessons from S.A.M. Hall of Famer, Jimmy Yoshida at Jimmy's house on Wednesday nights for $5, attending the SAM Conference awhile back in Las Vegas (Ballys), and opening night at Monty's Magic Theater. When he's not performing magic, he enjoys playing softball, golf, volleyball and doing projects with the Junior Optimist Club, a community service club at Kaimuki Middle School and the Optimist Club of Honolulu.

Mr. "O" performs closeup, stage magic and comedy magic with audience participation for small groups or large audiences. He also does balloon twisting if requested for his parties. He's also a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) and Hawai'i Magicians Society, Ring #185, the Society of American Magicians (SAM) and Hawai'i Assembly #89.
